SydTraffic

My first iPhone application which provides an easier interface to view the RTA's Sydney Traffic Cameras. After 3 days of being on the store it hit number 1 in the top free applications and stayed there for a week, with over 20,000 downloads to date. Thank you all for the support, suggestions and feedback.

I have received many suggestions of porting my application to other states, and I'm currently working on getting the written permission to do so. So far VIC CityLink, QLD Mainroads and the Sydney RTA have submitted my request to the appropriate departments to get me permission.

*Update* - WA MainRoads have approved my use of their cameras and an application will be sumitted to the iTunes store within a day or two.

To the others asking for New Zealand, Tasmania, Toronto, UK and Vancouver cameras, I'm working on it!

As I spend all day at work fixing things while everyone around me gets to create things (well.. in reality they're just fixing bugs too).. I decided to become a registered iPhone developer and see if I could make some useful applications. They will be posted in this section, along with updates and allow people to give me feedback on my programs.

Welcome to trisome, a little project of mine to create iPhone applications. It’s a work in progress, so please visit again later and hopefully I won’t be too lazy to update the site.

I’m still getting familiar with Cocoa and the iPhone SDK, so currently I only have one application available (more are coming!).

UPDATE: Wow! Such a huge response in such a short amount of time! My was is number 1 on the Australian iTunes store for a week. Thank you all for the downloads and positive reviews! Requests for VIC, QLD, WA and TAS cameras are noted. I'm currently in the process of getting written permission to add these so please check back for updates/new versions!
